Overview
VoxFlow puts the timer, instructions, recorder and reading material for voice recovery into one calm 10 minute routine. It needs no account and keeps every recording on the phone.
Challenge
People doing voice exercises had to juggle a timer, notes, a recorder and articles. Most apps also add streak pressure and cloud accounts, which this audience does not want.
Approach
We built one guided routine that tells the user what to do at each moment. Recordings stay private, and users can play an early recording next to a recent one to hear their progress.
Outcome
A finished Android app with onboarding, guided sessions, a recordings library, side by side comparison, a progress calendar and a short learning library. It works with no internet connection.
Key features
A guided 10 minute routine
Six phases tell you what to do, when to breathe and which note to aim for. Pause, skip or restart any time.
Hear your progress
Play an early recording against a recent one, one after the other or interleaved.
Live feedback while recording
The app tells you if you are too quiet or too loud. Recordings never leave the phone.
No account, no internet
Everything is stored on the device and nothing is sent anywhere.
A short learning library
Ten articles with simple diagrams unlock as you progress.
Progress without pressure
A calendar and a weekly goal, with no points or leaderboards.
